Frankie Sunswept & The Sunwrays is the best NYC wedding band for those who like their tunes out there in the stratosphere, but classic enough to get family and friends sprinting to the dance floor. Two electric guitars, drums, and bass make up this four-piece, four-part-harmony, ‘Cosmic R&B’ band. The sound is equal parts Motown / Smokey Robinson meets Beach Boys harmonies meets rockin’ Beatles.

The Sunwrays bring rock ‘n’ roll “back to the era where vocals and groove were the top priority.” They can also play classic 50’s, country, blues, surf guitar, and 60’s girl groups, are happy to accommodate requests, and can bring visuals if a particular vibe is needed.

Frankie Sunswept is an artist and musician living in Queens, NY (home to our latest wedding venue profile, My Kitchen). He is  known for his solo musicianship, as well as his music residency with The Sunwrays at one of our favorite small wedding venues, The Jalopy Theatre.
